Hans-W. Micklitz is a distinguished Professor at the University of Helsinki (Finland) and a part-time Professor at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute, Florence (Italy). He is the member of the ERC research team headed by Professor Giovanni Sartor, Bologna/EUI Florence on the regulation of computations (processes and systems) (2019-2024). His research interests include i.a. transnational and European (private) law and legal theory.
