Damjan Možina is Professor of Civil and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He studied Law in Ljubljana (Bachelor’s degree) and Berlin (Humboldt, LL.M,). He passed the Bar Exam in Slovenia (2003). He received his PhD from University of Ljubljana with a thesis on Breach of contract and remedies in comparative perspective (2005). He had several research scholarships at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and a grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2018-2019). He is a member of Council at the European Law Institute (ELI). His research areas include Contract Law, Tort law, European Private Law and Law of State Liability.
